Though there's been a sudden resurgence in trade and Procuratorial elections will take place soon, Vinovia's short period of quiet and calm has been interrupted. A band of pirates from a distant land have been raiding Vinovia's shores, and have even fought legionaries and marines within the city's streets. Why have these pirates chosen, out of all the coastal cites in the world, to harass small Vinovia? And is it by coincidence so many foreign, wealthy merchants have taken an interest in the city, or is there a reason for it? Will the Procuratorial elections prolong this period of turmoil, as the ambitious families within the city begin the next round of their endless struggle for power?
